I had been dating Matthew for two weeks. It was a winter night, it was snowing hard outside, and I had a nightmare that seemed so real, that I couldn't believe it wasn't.
I was walking over to the park. Matthew had called me saying that he wanted to talk to me. I was excited, he normally didn't want to talk in person if it wasn't really important. I walked faster, to get there as soon as possible. I got there, and saw Matthew sitting on a bench, under a tree. The tree had no leaves on anymore, and it was snowing softly.
"Matthew!" I shouted to him, and ran towards Matthew.
"Hi..." I threw myself on his arms, and he pushed me, in a way that made me sit on the bench.
"What happened, Mattie?" I asked, confused.
"_____... I'm sorry..."
"What's the matter, Matthew?"
"I don't love you anymore... I want to break up."
"B-but... Matthew... I need you..." Tears started to fall. "Please, don't break up with me!"
"I already did, _____" He got up. "Bye, _____." Saying that, he left me alone.
I cried. I started to cry harder, and harder. I loved him so much, that I couldn't see myself without him already. People were passing by, and looking over to me. But I didn't care, I just wanted to cry, and cry.
I woke up, crying. I looked around, and didn't see Matthew anywhere. I cried harder, and got up. I went over to the mirror, and looked at myself. I was a complete mess.
"Did this really happen...?" I muttered to myself.
I cleaned my face up, and put my hair in place. Putting on a coat, and shoes, I headed to Matthew's house. I didn't care if it was 3 a.m., I just wanted to see Matthew. I arrived there fast, his house was pretty close to mine, just a few streets away. When I arrived, I rang the bell. He opened the door, and started to talk:
"Eh... _____? What are-" I interrupted him.
"Matthew, please, come back to me! I really need you!"
"_____, what are you talking about, sweet?"
"Sweet?" I sobbed. "You mean you didn't break up with me?"
"Of course I didn't, I love you, _____!" He cleaned a tear on my face.
"Oh, Matthew, you just don't know how happy I am now!" I hugged him, putting my face on his shirt.
"I can imagine..." He hugged me back, and pulled me inside. "There's no way I'm letting you go back home with all this snow outside."
"I love you so much, Mattie..." I smiled.
"Je t'aime aussi, mon cher..."
